Guys, is there a reason for your short memories? Remember a few not so long ago seasons when a Mr A came a-riding into the Premiership with a certain Blue horse? Look what they were able to achieve by the end of the last season!

Come on, chaps...ManU is not the biggest club on the planet...they are the best! Sir AF is not just a legend, he is the Merlin of them all!
Sure, the nay-sayers will want to believe that the greatest empire - ever! - will also find it's natural demise...be patient, there are a few more tricks the grand-master needs to teach before he exits the theatre!

Be assured, the jostling wannabe's will (again) stand in awe as the greatest dream realises itself. Already, a master-stroke has been exercised in the capture of what will in time be known as the 2nd coming of Cantona!

I wish u'all well in your desires to see the Premiership going elsehwere. The 2nd hat-trick of titles will not be the most signifcant achievement of ManU this season. I want to put it to you that Berbatov's debut against the other red team will signify a very sweet moment of destiny for those who believe that the last - and greatest - chapter of the fairytale is about to be penned!

Put Aston Villa at number 8 and push the rest down. Aston Villa always have problems when any of the three strikers pick injuries - John Carew, Agbolahor or Young

@the General

An interesting table - especially since Aston Villa, who many think can challenge for 4th, don't seem to be in your league. (you seem to have skipped the number 15)

Real Madrid sold Man City Robinho because Man City are not their rivals in Europe. They are doing exactly the same thing Barca did when they sold Maradona to Napoli thinking Napoli wasnt much of a force in europe, then they won 2 Italian league titles & they became European Champions. I hope this doesnt back fire on them in the long term. My table for the English Premier League come end of the season:

1. Man U
2. Chelsea
3. Liverpool - If Gerrard & Torres stay fit
4. Arsenal - If Fabregas & Adebayor stay fit
5. Man City - Good manager
6. Tottenham - If they gel fast
7. Everton
8. Blackburn - If Cruz can play like Last Season
9. Portsmouth
10. Wigan
11. West Ham
12. Newcastle - Short on numbers
13. Middlesbrough
14. Sunderland
16. fullham
17. Bolton
18. Stoke
19. West Brom
20. Hull

For some reason I have always had a soft spot for Spurs but if I were a betting man my money would be on Chelsea. Think Man City will shade Arsenal for 4th. With Man U 2nd and Arsenal 3rd.
