The match that could have made it a real affair was the Inter - Barca match which unfortunately failed to live to its billing. Then the Etv match on Tuesday btwn Man U & Besiktas was marred by the poor sound quality provided by ETV. You could hear the atmosphere was brilliant in the stadium but they couldn't get it to us, the viewers watching on tv. So far the opening week of the CL has been disappointing. It is just a pity that e-tv only broadcast matches involving English sides. The Inter-Barcelona match is going to be a cracker. The speed at which the game is played is mesmeric. Really great stuff to watch and truly European competition. Can't wait for the competition to really get going. I love Champions League football.
