He is the only knight in footballl right now, do you know anybody else. Just as you are a Chelsea Fan and you are optimistic about them winning the league, whilst i am a United fan, i have to be optimistic too that we will win the league. Manchester United have been winning the league before Tevez and Ronaldo, they will continue winning the league after them. Check my first post on this blogging platform - http://bit.ly/wQhLF. Man U have always been up there against all odds. The Glazers and Gill the CEO have always shown that they are behind Ferguson in the Transfer Market, we saw when they splashed close to 60 million signing Nani, Anderson and Hargreaves. They splashed 30 million last season signing Berbatov. I dont see it as a debt problem, just that its a different trading market at the moment. Nani and Anderson are two of the some of the most exciting youngsters. How many youngsters at your beloved Chelsea get a chance to play in the Premier league? Its turning into another AC Milan - a retirement village. Man City prefers to buy ready made material just like Chelsea and Liverpool. How many youngsters have broken through those team and made a real impact? @Peter L

Please have a CA friend look up Manchester United and Liverpool's financials - their balance sheet and income statement, plus cash-flow. Look particularly at the liabilities side of the balance sheet. Withour a serious injection of equity, there is no way that SAF can afford to make big money signings (35 mill plus). His best bet is to find relatively cheap hidden gems, as he has done very successfully in the past (Ronaldo being a case in point). he's also bought a few expensive duds - forlan and hargreaves come to mind. Nani and Anderson two of the world's greatest young players? get real - they have both yet to prove themselves - like hundreds of other youngsters, they are exciting with great POTENTIAL. Neither of them would get into Chelsea, Liverpool or Man City's starting line-up.
