Thanks for the comment Shridhar.

Spot on with the comment. While I would back Prince to stay, this could be an opportunity to blood another young batsmen (Heino Kuhn? He seems to be earmarked as Boucher's successor at the moment) if both were to go. What can be said is that something needs to change.

Ishant is a good example from the Indian side. After such a stellar debut, was their only going to be one way his career would go before it improves again?

What a fanstastic one dayer btw. I lost interest considering we were 7 down with too many too get. Dale Steyn changed my mind though. Hopefully the next one will be as close.

Duminy's knocks in Australia seemed so elegant that I took an instant liking to him. They came against Australia, they came in backs to the wall situations.

With his form now, I feel really bad for him. Its almost obvious that his confidence level is very low at the moment, may be lower than when he made his debut. His situation is similar to that of Ishant Sharma right now.

Both raised their cricketing stocks high with impressive performances of Aussie land. And then with indifferent performances to follow, both are suffering from a crisis early in their careers.

I think both of them need a break from international cricket. That both have immmense talent is a no brainer question. What both need is a chance to take a step back, review their frailities, get back some confidence and then burst back into the international scene.

They are both young and will certainly have their chance for greatness in the future. Persisting with them right now might well rob them off it.
